Responsibilities
Respond to customer inquiries regarding product specifications, features, and integration capabilities, including complex or custom applications
Communicate with and educate our sales staff and customers on our technical solutions
Ensure proposed solutions are correctly sized and constructed to meet quality and performance standards
Lead the creation of proposals, quotes, and technical documentation for potential clients
Participate in and support sales strategy discussions, contributing advanced technical insights during customer negotiations
Support operations and project managers in project execution, particularly for complex or high-impact projects
Lead project cost estimating and consult on advanced product design with sales and production teams
Provide installation oversight and advanced troubleshooting service work for new and custom products in the field
Create tools for matured products to transition to Catalyzer or other teams and help standardize engineering practices
Drive process improvements, mentor junior engineers, and contribute to cross-functional technical problem solving and innovation
Qualification
Required
Bachelor's degree in Mechanical Engineering
10+ years in a related engineering field or engineering employment at MIRATECH
Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to explain complex technical concepts to non-technical clients and stakeholders
Advanced time management and organizational skills, with a strong track record of meeting project deadlines, solving problems, and developing creative solutions
Ability to work independently on complex technical challenges and lead technical efforts within projects
Familiarity with CRM tools (e.g., Salesforce) or technical documentation software
Proficiency with Microsoft Office applications (Outlook, Word, Excel, PowerPoint)
Proficiency with SolidWorks CAD or equivalent
