Marketing Manager for MSP

Responsibilities
Take end-to-end ownership of campaigns and initiatives, from ideation through execution and results, focused on raising brand awareness, generating qualified leads, and enhancing customer retention
Dive deep into the business, services, and customer needs to develop tailored strategies
Actively contribute ideas to the overall go-to-market strategy, continuously testing and refining approaches to increase impact across awareness, pipeline, and long-term customer engagement
Develop and execute lead-generation campaigns to drive new business opportunities
Own lead nurturing end to end, ensuring thoughtful, timely, and personalized engagement from first touch through conversion, in close partnership with sales
Balance inbound and outbound lead generation efforts, with a strong understanding of how high-intent inbound leads accelerate sales
Leverage modern marketing automation and CRM tools to manage, segment, and nurture leads efficiently, while maintaining a human, personalized touch
Use data, feedback from sales, and rapid iteration to continuously refine nurturing strategies and improve lead quality and conversion rates
Partner closely with sales to align marketing efforts with revenue goals and active opportunities
Support and occasionally execute SDR-style activities such as personalized outbound emails, follow-ups, and targeted outreach campaigns
Understand and optimize the balance between inbound and outbound motion, prioritizing high-intent inbound while scaling outbound experimentation
Develop engaging content for various platforms including website, blog, social media, and email marketing
Explore and test non-traditional and emerging channels (e.g., podcasts, creative outbound, new “New Age” GTM approaches)
Proactively use AI to accelerate content creation, campaign iteration, personalization, and experimentation
Creation of case studies, whitepapers, and other customer-facing materials that showcase our expertise
Work with internal teams to produce thought leadership content and educational resources
Leverage Fairwinds’ marketing tools and automation platforms (HubSpot, custom AI tools, outbound platforms) to increase throughput and effectiveness
Ensure consistent messaging, tone, and visual identity across all marketing channels
Collaborate with the design team to develop promotional materials and branded assets
Maintain and elevate the company's digital and offline presence
Organize and promote company events, webinars, trade shows, and networking opportunities
Coordinate logistics, create promotional materials, and ensure a seamless experience for attendees
Track, measure, and report on marketing performance using tools such as Google Analytics, CRM, and social media insights
Segment ICPs and personas, manage GTM data in CRM systems, and use reporting to inform fast iteration
Use data-driven insights to improve campaign strategies and decision-making
Qualification
Required
Bachelor's degree in Marketing, Communications, Business, or related field (or equivalent experience)
3-5 years of marketing experience, preferably in the B2B tech or MSP industry or strong agency experience
Strong proficiency with digital marketing tools (SEO, SEM, Google Analytics, social media platforms, email marketing, etc.)
Excellent writing, editing, and content creation skills, with the ability to translate technical concepts clearly
Experience with marketing automation tools (HubSpot) and CRM platforms
Proven experience in lead generation, customer acquisition and retention strategies; with a strong understanding of inbound vs outbound
Comfort working cross-functionally with sales and contributing to pipeline-focused outcomes
Familiarity with modern marketing tools and trends, including the use of AI to increase output and iterate quickly
Basic web and graphic design familiarity; experience with tools like Canva or Adobe Creative suite is a plus
Strong organizational and project management skills, with the ability to own initiatives end to end
Creative, self-motivated, and highly adaptable

Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
Ability to think strategically while executing tactical details
Strong problem-solving skills with the ability to work independently and in a team environment
A proactive approach to learning and staying up-to-date with marketing trends, tools, and best practices
Preferred
Experience with HubSpot marketing tools (CRM, email marketing, and automation) is a plus
Familiarity with the AWS Partner Portal and its resources to leverage for joint marketing initiatives is a bonus
