Responsibilities

Assume ownership level responsibility for all the assets that may be assigned to this individual, including without limitation financial performance, strategic planning and execution
In respect to real estate, supervise the independent contractors who will be responsible for leasing, property management functions, tenant improvement capital items
Prepare annual budgets for each property, and manage same according to such budgets, once approved by the Chairman
Assist independent leasing and management contractors to enhance customer relations, facilitate and expedite where possible
Provide comprehensive and timely reports to the Chairman and others who need to know
Work to create good relationships with banks and others who may be involved with the Family Office, and with the properties
Expedite and facilitate deal making, sale of targeted assets for sale, leases, loans, and the closing of transactions wherever and in whatever situation may be demanded
Update and analyze property proformas as a function of executing the business plan and determining an accurate NOI for each assigned asset

Required

8-12+ years of proven commercial real estate asset management or otherwise relevant affiliation with the business of owning and operating large commercial assets
Leasing, or sales, and marketing experience
Education and or/experience: Bachelor's degree from four-year college or university with at least ten years' industry experience, or equivalent combination of education and experience
Accounting, business, leasing of real estate, real property management background is preferred
Real estate experience in commercial properties, i.e. Office and Business Park assets
Ability to effectively present information and respond to questions from groups of managers, clients, customers, and the public and regulatory agencies
Mathematical/Financial Skills: Ability to calculate figures and amounts such as loan amortization, commissions, expense prorations, percentages, area
Real estate financial analysis skills are essential
Reasoning Ability, Logical mindset. Ability to define problems, collect data, establish facts, and draw valid conclusions
Effectively manage multiple tasks and manage time accordingly
Other skills and abilities: Must be service oriented, have ability to interact with all levels of individuals and groups of people both orally and in writing
Planning, organizational skills, an understanding of accounting and the ability to analyze and interpret lease agreements are necessary
Computer skills are required

Preferred

Accounting, business, leasing of real estate, real property management background is preferred
