They are seeking a Clinical Specialist-Oncology Pharmacist who will review and verify chemotherapy orders, provide medication counseling to patients, and collaborate with healthcare teams to optimize treatment plans.

Responsibilities
Review, prepare, and verify chemotherapy and targeted therapy orders for accuracy, safety, and compliance
Provide medication counseling to patients and families, helping them understand complex treatment regimens, side effects, and adherence strategies
Collaborate with oncologists, nurses, and multidisciplinary teams to optimize treatment plans and improve outcomes
Monitor patient responses to therapy, adjust recommendations, and prevent adverse drug events
Stay current with oncology drug developments, clinical guidelines, and emerging therapies
Staff in inpatient pharmacy as needed
Qualification
Required
Education: Doctor of Pharmacy (PharmD) or equivalent degree
Licensure: Active and unrestricted pharmacist license
Experience: Prior experience in oncology, hematology, or hospital pharmacy
Preferred
Board Certification in Oncology Pharmacy (BCOP) preferred but not required
