IT Digital Customer Experience Summer (STAR) Intern
Mercedes-Benz USA is responsible for the sales, marketing and service of all Mercedes-Benz and Maybach products in the United States. The internship focuses on Content Management Systems, where the intern will create, organize, and manage digital content across websites and online platforms, supporting the digital marketing and content management teams.

Responsibilities
Content Creation and Editing
Write, edit, and format content for publishing on various platforms
Ensure all content aligns with the brand and style guidelines
Content Publishing and Updating
Publish content in the CMS based on the release cadence for the products
Regularly update content to ensure accuracy and relevance, including updating links, images, and multimedia
Search Engine Optimization (SEO)
Optimize content with SEO best practices, including keyword usage, meta tags, and alt text for images
Monitor and report on content performance using analytics tools, adjusting strategies to improve organic reach
Ensure proper file naming and compression to improve site speed and accessibility
User Experience (UX) and Quality Assurance
Test website functionality to ensure content displays correctly on different devices and browsers
Identify and report any bugs or technical issues to the development team
Collaborate with designers to implement visually appealing, user-friendly layouts
Content Strategy and Analysis
Assist in content strategy development by conducting keyword research, competitor analysis, or audience research
Track metrics such as page views, engagement rates, and conversions to measure content success and identify areas for improvement
Cross-Functional Collaboration
Work with teams like marketing, design, and development to align content efforts with broader business goals
Participate in brainstorming sessions for campaigns, social media, or blog content ideas
Qualification
Required
Must be a rising junior or rising senior enrolled in a Bachelor's program
Proficiency in CMS platforms (Adobe Experience Manager)
Basic HTML and CSS knowledge
Content marketing, and digital asset management skills
Understanding of analytics tools like Google Analytics
Project management, collaboration, and communication skills
