Responsibilities

Supervise CCYT Specialists, resulting in the implementation of quality service delivery
Conduct individual supervisory conferences with CCYT Specialists at least bi-monthly with the goal of providing continual support, guidance, and work product evaluation/feedback
Complete timely probationary/annual employee evaluations
Responsible for monitoring the workload of the Specialists and adjusting as needed
Responsible for employee satisfaction within the CCYT department with an emphasis on building/maintaining a sense of team within the department
Responsible for identifying the training needs and professional development needs of staff supervised
Proficient utilization of SAM database
Review and approve client narratives, action plans, and documentation completed by CCYT staff
Complete monthly formal internal client file audits, and weekly informal audits, of all direct reports
Assign new CCYT referrals to Specialists within two (2) business days of receipt
Ensure CCYT Specialists follow all requirements of the initial narrative process
Assist staff with client visits and follow-up meetings as needed
Ensure clients served receive proper support and advocacy
Maintain strong, open communication with the Director of Youth Adult Programs regarding services delivered, concerns or questions
Responsible for making community connections to increase program referrals as assigned and maintaining contact/relationship building with other partner agencies and community stakeholders
Occasionally travel within Kansas and Missouri to attend and/or present in-service training, conduct CCYT training/presentations, and complete assessments on clients as needed or assigned
Demonstrated a commitment to the mission and core values of FAC, and a willingness to perform other duties as required
Participate in staff meetings and assist other program staff as needed
Participate as an active team member with colleagues of all demographics in order to effectively and efficiently serve clients
Participate as an active team member with all agency departments and attend trainings and meetings as assigned
Model ethical and professional behaviors at all times

Responsible for the measurement and effectiveness of the program, both internal and external
Implement and lead a continuous quality assurance measures
Participate in quarterly client audit reviews; make updates/changes as identified through the PQI process
Participate in the evaluation and implementation of service improvement as identified by FAC’s internal PQI process
Ensure mileage, client assistance, and other expenses align with the scope and needs of the program
Provide timely required information for state contracted billing and other month-end reports
Assist with the execution of grants as required

Required

High school diploma or equivalent required
+2 years of experience working in non-profit social service agencies
Childhood experience(s) in any of the following: foster care, informal kinship care, homelessness, and/or mandatory family-centered systems of care services in their home
Flexible and a self-starter; multi-task while also being highly detail-oriented while meeting all deadlines
Use effective communication and interpersonal skills that consistently respect children, adults, and their families
Demonstrates the capability to learn and to practice teamwork; patient and compassionate
Understands and respects the necessity for confidentiality
Positive and calm presence in all situations
Excellent written and verbal communication skills
Outstanding organizational and planning skills
Solid commitment to the principles of support and advocacy for foster and adoptive families
Experience working with marginalized communities with a nuanced understanding of systemic oppressions

Preferred

Bachelor's Degree in social work, psychology, public administration, or a related human services field
Previous leadership/management experience
Experience working directly with at-risk youth
