Responsibilities
Drive full-cycle recruitment for specialized consulting roles—from food manufacturing to technology enablement and change management
Build robust pipelines of skilled professionals across critical disciplines
Develop and execute sourcing strategies to engage top passive talent
Partner with hiring managers and leadership to define needs and shape ideal candidate profiles
Manage candidate screening, interviews, and hiring workflows within Paychex Hiring
Monitor key metrics like time-to-fill, quality-of-hire, and candidate experience to continually refine results
Strengthen employer brand through outreach to universities, professional associations, and industry networks
Lead a seamless, tech-enabled onboarding experience through Paychex systems
Administer HRIS workflows across Hiring, Onboarding, Time Tracking, and Benefits modules
Ensure compliance across a 13-state footprint and support lifecycle activities such as offboarding
Leverage data and analytics from Paychex to inform strategy and drive process improvements
Contribute to broader HR projects, from process enhancements to employee experience initiatives
Qualification
Required
5–10 years of progressive experience across talent acquisition and HR generalist roles
Hands-on expertise with Paychex, especially the Hiring & Onboarding modules (required)
Demonstrated success recruiting for professional services, consulting, or technical roles
A track record of innovation—using technology to streamline and improve hiring and HR processes
Strong communication, relationship-building, and project management skills
Comfort operating independently in a remote, fast-paced work environment
Working knowledge of multi-state employment compliance
Preferred
Experience recruiting in management consulting, professional services, or technical consulting
Familiarity with food manufacturing, supply chain, or operations consulting talent markets
PHR, SPHR, or SHRM certification
Advanced Paychex module expertise (Benefits, Time & Attendance, Human Resources)
Background in HR process improvement or change management
