Responsibilities
Own and lead technical implementation discussions with merchants and partners across web, payment, and commerce technologies
Become a subject matter expert in payments, BNPL, and Zip’s platform capabilities
Collaborate with Zip’s Product and Engineering teams to build solutions that scale across multiple verticals and geographies
Translate business requirements and customer needs into actionable technical solutions
Deliver product demos and presentations to technical and non-technical stakeholders, including C-level executives
Troubleshoot integration issues and work cross-functionally to ensure successful deployments
Contribute to our public developer portal and documentation to improve integration velocity and customer experience
Apply AI tools and techniques to streamline implementation processes and improve time-to-value for partners
Act as a trusted advisor, helping clients and internal teams leverage Zip’s platform to meet their strategic goals
Qualification
Required
5+ years of experience working with or implementing web technologies, especially in e-commerce or payments
3+ years in a client-facing role, including experience presenting to technical and executive audiences
Proven track record of leading technical implementations and solutioning across cross-functional stakeholders
Familiarity with payment APIs, e-commerce platforms, and developer tooling
Strong written and verbal communication skills with the ability to simplify the complex
Demonstrated ability to translate technical details into business value
Experience leveraging or implementing AI tools in technical solutioning or process automation
A high-adaptability mindset with a bias for action, learning, and collaboration
Enthusiasm for working in a fast-paced environment with shifting priorities and growth opportunities
