New GradViking Pump, a unit of IDEX Corporation, is seeking a Design Engineering Co-Op to work within their Engineering Department in Cedar Falls, Iowa. The role involves participating in design projects to support Growth & Innovation and Global Distribution business segments, alongside various engineering tasks.

Responsibilities
Participate on cross-functional project teams
Support New Product Development, Value Engineering, & Derivative Product projects
Create and Update models and drawings in SolidWorks
Maintain part numbers and Bills of Material in ERP system
Other engineering projects as assigned
Qualification
Required
Pursuing a Bachelor's degree in Mechanical Engineering, Industrial Engineering, Manufacturing Engineering Technology or Industrial Technology
Minimum GPA of 3.0 in Major
Ability to manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment
Demonstrated ability to work in a team environment
Strong written and verbal communication skills
Proficient with Microsoft Office products including, but not limited to, Word, Excel, PowerPoint and Outlook
CAD training w/SolidWorks experience a plus
Ability to move within office and manufacturing complex, write by hand and keyboard, and perform general office functions
Visual acuity needed for close detail work and computer use
