Responsibilities
Defend complex civil litigation including toxic torts, discrimination, harassment, and general liability from intake to verdict
Draft motions, conduct discovery, and argue dispositive issues in state/federal courts
Lead depositions and strategy in high-exposure matters like CVA and asbestos claims
Negotiate settlements and support trials with client-focused, efficient advocacy
Collaborate across offices on multi-jurisdictional defenses for premier carriers
Qualification
Required
Juris Doctor (JD) degree from an accredited law school
Active state bar license
2+ years of experience in insurance defense or civil litigation
Strong understanding of toxic torts, discrimination, harassment, and general liability
Experience drafting motions and conducting discovery
Ability to argue dispositive issues in state/federal courts
Experience leading depositions and strategy in high-exposure matters
Proven negotiation skills for settlements
Ability to collaborate across offices on multi-jurisdictional defenses
