Outside Sales Representative
Lechner Services is a family-owned company with deep roots in Chicagoland, and they are hiring a hunter-focused B2B Outside Sales Representative to drive new customer acquisition for their Uniform Rental and Facility Services business. The role involves prospecting, closing, and launching new accounts, with ongoing account management handled by dedicated internal teams.
Responsibilities
Prospect and acquire new B2B customers only through cold calls, emails, referrals, and in-person visits
Set first appointments with decision-makers and conduct on-site evaluations
Sell recurring service programs, including:
Uniform rental programs
Floor mat services
Restroom hygiene and paper products
Assess customer needs and present customized service solutions
Own the sales process from first contact through signed agreement
Negotiate service agreements and coordinate new account installations
Work within assigned zip codes and manage a defined new-business territory
Consistently meet and exceed weekly, monthly, and annual new-business goals
Qualification
Required
2+ years of B2B sales experience with a strong cold-calling background
Proven success in a hunter or new-logo acquisition role
Experience working a defined territory and activity-based sales model
Strong presentation, negotiation, and closing skills
Highly self-motivated, competitive, and results-driven
Comfortable traveling locally throughout Chicagoland
Preferred
Service-based B2B sales experience preferred (but not required)
