Responsibilities
Own key aspects of the monthly close, including journal entries, reconciliations, and corporate financial reporting
Support parent-level funding activity, intercompany transactions, and eliminations
Assist with corporate consolidations and related analysis
Review expense accruals, allocations, prepaids, payroll-related accounting, and cash activity
Maintain the close calendar and help ensure deadlines are met with a high level of accuracy
Coordinate with internal and external auditors during quarterly and annual audits
Contribute to process improvements, automation initiatives, and ad-hoc projects tied to acquisitions or structural changes
Qualification
Required
3–5 years of progressive accounting experience, ideally a mix of public (Big Four or similar) and private industry
Strong working knowledge of U.S. GAAP and the full close process
Experience working directly in the general ledger and with consolidated entities
Solid Excel skills (pivot tables, analysis); comfort working with large data sets
Detail-oriented, adaptable, and comfortable in a fast-paced, deadline-driven environment
