InternContra Costa Water District (CCWD) is an innovative leader in water management seeking an intern for their Diversity, Equity, & Inclusion department. The intern will assist in researching best practices in employee engagement, developing surveys, and facilitating outreach events while working with seasoned professionals in the field.

Responsibilities
Assist on researching best practices techniques in employee engagement across various department and demographic populations
Help develop surveys and other assessment tools to gauge program effectiveness
Participate with planning and facilitating internal and external outreach events (e.q., Employee Resource group activities, career fairs)
Assist in developing the marketing materials across multiple platforms
Qualification
Required
Has the equivalent to the completion of the twelfth (12th) grade and current enrollment or a recent graduate of an accredited college, university, or educational institution with major coursework in public administration, business management, organizational development, human resources management, industrial/organizational psychology, and/or other related fields
Is solutions-focused and a creative problem-solver
Is a motivated self-starter with effective interpersonal and technical skills
Is an organized and results-driven team player
Preferred
Full-time or part-time during Spring 2026
Full-time during Summer 2026
