Responsibilities
Book supplier invoices in accordance with GAAP guidelines and applicable legal requirements
Order or release payments when assigned by accountable management
Investigate and resolve account discrepancies internally and with expediters, vendors, and suppliers
Serve as the first point of contact for assigned buying organizations and vendors
Respond to internal customer inquiries related to the Procure-to-Pay process
Partner with purchasing organizations to clarify invoice or payment issues
Proactively contact suppliers as needed to resolve questions or discrepancies
Close the Accounts Payable subledger on a rotating basis
Maintain accurate documentation and records in accordance with company policies
Use Microsoft Office tools (Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Outlook) to support daily activities
Qualification
Required
High School Diploma or equivalent required
1+ year of Accounts Payable or related experience
Strong attention to detail with an interest in problem-solving
Good oral and written communication skills
Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and adapt to changing priorities
Basic proficiency with computers and Microsoft Office applications
Prior experience working in Accounts Payable
Strong attention to detail

Preferred
Experience working with Oracle or other ERP systems
