Responsibilities
Creating, documenting, developing, supporting and improving upon the control systems that are essential to the production processes
Troubleshooting any controls related downtime events on the production lines as a priority
Troubleshooting their systems, as well programming for automated equipment
Responsible for the planning, coordination, and implementation and tracking of assigned projects
Communicating with vendors to decide product specifications and arrange for purchase of equipment, materials, or parts, and evaluates products according to specifications and quality standards
Performing other duties assigned
Qualification
Required
Bachelor's degree in Electrical Engineering, Industrial Engineer or 2-5 years' working experience in PLC programming experience
Experience as a Controls Engineer or a related role
Experience with Robotic programming and controls
Ability to multi-task, organize, and prioritize work
Work responsibly, effectively, and independently
Teamwork skills are a MUST!
This position is required to work in a manufacturing environment facility. When in the plant, the worker is frequently exposed to moving mechanical parts. The noise level in the work environment is usually medium. Hard hats, steel toe safety shoes, and safety glasses are required in all production areas
