Responsibilities
Independently design and model power and lighting systems for commercial, industrial and data center facilities
Complete assigned design tasks and coordinate portions of project scope
Assemble design drawings and coordinated documentation
Use engineering software tools to run calculations and prepare reports
Produce single line diagrams, layouts and supporting technical documents
Work with project managers, external design teams and internal departments
Support QAQC processes through the design lifecycle
Provide mentoring to junior designers
Contribute to department workflows, CAD/VDC standards and quality processes
Qualification
Required
BS degree in Electrical Engineering or similar
4 to 6 years experience with an electrical design firm or design-build contractor
Proficiency with AutoCAD MEP and Revit
Strong understanding of power and lighting systems
Knowledge of state and national electrical codes
Strong communication and time management skills
Must be authorized to work in the United States
Preferred
Experience with ETAP or SKM
EIT certification
