Responsibilities

Compile financial statements (OCBOA – Tax; OCBOA – Cash) including financial statement disclosures and reporting in an efficient and timely manner

Preparation of Individual, C Corp, S Corp, Partnership, Fiduciary, Gift and Estate tax returns

Provide timely and high-quality services and work products that exceed client expectations

Conduct in-depth and complex tax research for clients in a multitude of industries

Build on technical competence by keeping up to date on trends, developments and technical authorities and apply them accordingly

Qualification

Public accounting experienceTax return preparationMassachusetts taxation knowledgeFiduciary taxation experienceGAAP work experienceBusiness planning experienceCCH products experienceTax research skillsTechnical writingCollaboration skills

Required

5 years' public accounting experience in a firm specializing in high income clients, complex tax situations, with an emphasis on business clients

Experience in preparation of review and/or compiled financial statements

Knowledgeable in Massachusetts taxation, and other New England states

Business planning experience

Ability to perform on-line tax and accounting & reporting research in a variety of services and to write technical memorandums

Preferred

Experience in Fiduciary, Gift and Estate planning and taxation, preferred

Experience working with CCH products, a plus

GAAP work experience, a plus

CPA or working toward CPA, preferred
