Responsibilities
In conjunction with the Director of Business Development, develop objectives and strategies in support of overall corporate business development goals in the Gulf South
Perform and manage research and client contact to identify and prioritize potential customers
Manages and maintains strong relationships with clients aligning with Baker’s strategy
Prepare and execute business development action plans for territory and accounts to expand Baker’s market share
Participate in the development and delivery of proposals, presentations, and brochure materials
Represent Baker with industry organizations through trade shows, networking events and event sponsorships
Manage sales process for opportunities with clients in assigned territory
Perform additional assignments as requested by the Director of Business Development
Qualification
Required
Experience in developing and implementing business strategies
Proven track record of successfully identifying and closing business opportunities
Strong communication and relationship-building skills
Project management and collaboration skills
Analytical skills and ability to conduct market research
5+ years industrial construction sales, supervision, engineering experience required
Preferred
Bachelor's degree in Business, Construction Management, Engineering is highly desired
Established relationships with industrial facilities, engineering firms, general contractors, and facility owners in the Houston industrial market
