Responsibilities
Direct, oversee repair activities, train, troubleshoot, diagnose, and maintain the following:
Close-In Weapon System (CIWS) and associated systems
Rolling Airframe Missile Launchers (RAM) and associated systems
Rolling Airframe Missile Guided Missile Launching System (RAM-GMLS)
Provide technical support for procurement, installation, at-sea testing, preventive/corrective maintenance, and lifecycle management of systems
Interpret technical manuals, apply repair standards, and maintain accurate technical documentation
Qualification
Required
High School Diploma or equivalent
Ability to obtain and maintain a DOD Secret Clearance
NEC (Navy Enlisted Qualifications) in related system: CIWS (V02A), SEARAM (V39B), RAM (V01A)
4+ years of related experience with shipboard systems and associated systems
Strong technical comprehension with the ability to read and interpret manuals and standards
Effective communication skills and ability to work with minimal supervision
Proficient with hand tools and multi-meters
Proficiency with Microsoft Office and related technical applications
Knowledge of 3M
Fiber Optics Technician Certificate
