Responsibilities
Manage a docket of employment law cases from intake through trial
Draft pleadings, discovery, motions, and trial briefs
Take and defend depositions
Appear in court for hearings and motion practice
Work directly with clients and contribute to case strategy
Participate in mediations, arbitrations, and settlement negotiations
Assist in trial preparation and serve as second chair when applicable
Qualification
Required
Active member in good standing with the California State Bar
1–6 years of litigation experience (employment law preferred)
Strong legal research, writing, and oral advocacy skills
Ability to manage cases independently and meet deadlines
Demonstrated interest in trial work and professional growth
Trial or substantial trial-preparation experience is a strong plus
