Financial Budget Analyst
Peer Consulting Resources Inc. is hiring a Financial Analyst / Budget Analyst to support a large public-sector finance team on an enterprise transformation initiative. The role involves setting up and maintaining program budgets, supporting financial reporting, and assisting with financial statement compilation.
Responsibilities
Set up and maintain program budgets in an enterprise financial system
Support monthly/quarterly financial reporting and management reporting
Prepare/process journal entries for the month/quarter close
Assist with quarterly/annual financial statement compilation
Reconcile subsidiary ledgers and general ledger accounts
Partner with stakeholders and contribute to process improvements while maintaining internal controls
Qualification
Required
3–5 years of experience reconciling GL + subledgers
Strong experience supporting month/quarter close and journal entries
Advanced Excel (pivots, lookups, large datasets)
ERP/financial systems experience (PeopleSoft strongly preferred)
Strong written + verbal communication; ability to juggle priorities in a fast-paced environment
Bachelor's in Accounting/Finance/Business
Preferred
Accounting background preferred
