Responsibilities
Create, maintain and execute scheduled jobs, data extracts, data refreshes, data loads and data replication
Manage Application and User Accounts
Devise implementation plans for tasking
Test backup strategies and implement database recovery techniques when required
Document database actions
Data recovery and space requirements /capacity planning for physical database and the ability to install client/server software and patches
Troubleshooting database issues and optimize performance experience
Must be able to configure, maintain, and troubleshoot database replication (transactional and snapshot)
Qualification
Required
A Bachelor's degree from an accredited University in Computer Information Systems, or an IT related field, and three (3) years of database experience is required
The selected applicant must have a DoD 8570/5239 IAT Level II Certification (Security + CE) or IAT Level III Certification (Security X, CISSP)
Active DoD Secret clearance is required to start. Must be able to attain and maintain Top Secret clearance
