The role involves performing various maintenance tasks and ensuring apartments are ready for occupancy by coordinating with other staff and maintaining a positive rapport with residents and co-workers.

Responsibilities
Preparing apartments for move-in
Performing all necessary maintenance requires including, but not limited to: appliances, disposals, faucets, toilets, windows, doors, screens, flooring, wallpaper, fixtures, hinges, handles, locks, rods and plumbing
Proficient in applying caulk, grout and wall & ceilings repairs
Communicating and updating on the punch-out schedule with maintenance, office, housekeeping, painting and shampooing staff to ensure apartment is ready by deadline
Responsible for completing their part to ensure the apartment is ready for occupancy
Properly mixing and using compounds and chemicals such as glue stripper, drywall mud, bleach, etc
Knowledge of using hand tools (putty knives, razor knives, scraper, screwdriver, etc.) safely and efficiently
Inventory control, maintaining the shop, equipment and golf carts
Follow all safe workplace rules and practices in order to prevent on-the-job injuries
Performing other related tasks as needed
