Responsibilities
Interpret, analyze, organize, execute, and coordinate new design projects and revisions to existing projects of varying size and complexity
Apply engineering principles and standard procedures while performing design work
Perform design calculations as required
Develop and provide detailed design elements as needed
Identify and seek resolution for non-standard analytical or design issues
Prepare estimated time requirements for assigned projects
Attend project-specific meetings to help establish and manage CAD schedules
Save and maintain project-specific data on a daily and weekly basis
Review and verify field survey notes
Assist Project Managers and engineering staff as needed
Participate in meetings as required
Maintain strong client relationships through professional communication and responsiveness
Promote and maintain a safe working environment
Qualification
Required
Basic knowledge of plan reading
More-than-basic mathematical skills
Ability to interpret, analyze, organize, execute, and coordinate new design projects and revisions
Ability to apply engineering principles and standard procedures while performing design work
Ability to perform design calculations as required
Ability to develop and provide detailed design elements as needed
Ability to identify and seek resolution for non-standard analytical or design issues
Ability to prepare estimated time requirements for assigned projects
Ability to attend project-specific meetings to help establish and manage CAD schedules
Ability to save and maintain project-specific data on a daily and weekly basis
Ability to review and verify field survey notes
