Desktop Support Specialist

CSI Companies is seeking a Desktop Support Specialist to deliver high-touch, white-glove technical support in a fast-paced environment. This role serves as a frontline point of contact for end users, providing expert support for desktops, laptops, and endpoint devices while contributing to ongoing device management and deployment initiatives.

Responsibilities

Provide white-glove technical support to end users via phone, email, and ITSM platform
Serve as a primary point of contact for incidents and service requests, ensuring timely resolution
Support, deploy, and maintain company desktops, laptops, and peripherals
Accurately document issues and resolutions for team knowledge sharing
Track all work in ITSM systems for transparency and reporting
Act as a Subject Matter Expert (SME) and support group projects as assigned
Maintain and deploy application packages using MECM/SCCM and Intune
Participate in building and maintaining gold images for company devices
Configure and support Windows, macOS, and Apple devices using AirWatch or Intune
Troubleshoot hardware, printers, peripherals, and endpoint software
Support enterprise applications including Office 365, Outlook, browsers, VPN, CRM tools, and email plugins
Follow policies for device deployment, lifecycle management, and decommissioning
Support ongoing device support initiatives and endpoint management projects
Collaborate with team members and cross-train as needed
Maintain flexibility to support after-hours or weekend work when required

Required

2+ years of experience in a Support Center or Desktop Support role
Hands-on experience supporting desktops and laptops in a fast-paced environment
1+ year of Windows administration and Active Directory experience
Proven ability to consistently meet service and performance goals
Strong troubleshooting and customer communication skills

Preferred

Bachelor's degree or technical certificate in Computer Science, Information Systems, or a related field
Microsoft Certified Professional (MCP) and/or CompTIA certifications
Experience with MECM/SCCM, Intune, and endpoint management tools
Experience supporting Apple devices in enterprise environments
