Starting, shutting down, and monitoring boilers to ensure efficient operation
Performing water tests, adding necessary chemicals, and conducting routine maintenance
Assisting with more complex maintenance tasks as needed
Qualification
Required
One year of progressive experience in the performance of tasks associated with mechanical maintenance or boiler operation; or an equivalent combination of education and experience
Basic math skills
A valid driver's license
Ability to use computers and maintenance software
Ability to accurately record readings
Ability to follow written or verbal instructions
Ability to work independently
Ability to perform heavy physical tasks when needed
Preferred
Knowledge of hand and power tools
Knowledge of principles of mechanical maintenance
Experience in mechanical, electrical, HVAC, boiler, or plumbing work in a commercial or industrial setting
