Responsibilities

Lead and support P2P activities, including invoice processing, payments, and vendor management, ensuring efficient and accurate transaction flow
Serve as the primary contact for P2P-related issues, handling escalations, and maintaining clear communication with internal and external stakeholders
Analyze P2P metrics, identify areas for improvement, and implement process optimization initiatives to enhance efficiency and accuracy
Ensure strict adherence to P2P policies and compliance with internal controls, supporting audits and governance requirements
Collaborate with BPO third-party service providers and cross-functional teams to ensure seamless procurement and payment operations
Manage relevant financial reporting, including the reconciliation of P2P-related general ledger accounts and tracking of performance metrics
Assist with month-end closing activities, providing P2P data to support financial reporting and budgeting processes
Provide training and guidance to internal teams on P2P processes and best practices, ensuring all process documentation is accurate and up to date
Lead the Procure to Pay activities in relation to suppliers: invoice processing, payments to suppliers, expense management, vendor help desk and intercompany netting
Analyze P2P metrics and make process improvement recommendations
Act as a change agent and design and implement best in class standard processes together with the Service Provider
Act as a key point of contact and communicate pro-actively with the in-scope Business Units and Finance Leaders about P2P matters
Manage exceptions and escalate appropriate issues or risks
Know the payment standards and processes
Lead month-end closing for North America
Troubleshoot daily payment issues, as well as various compliance and auditing assurance and support, training support to the third-party shared services team and CHEP BU stakeholders, supplier enablement, vendor balance, COUPA processing, and other senior analyst-level P2P responsibilities as needed

Required

Bachelor's degree in accounting, business or related field or equivalent experience
3-5 years Accounts Payable analyst or similar role
Expertise in P2P Tools (Coupa, Basware, Concur)
Working knowledge of general accounting principles and concepts
Core Procure to pay process knowledge
Related Policies & Compliance
Supplier Relationship Management
Strong analytical and reconciliation skills
Intermediate Excel Skills (VLook-up, Pivot Table Analysis)
SAP Procure to Pay expertise
Internal controls
Experience in working with third party service providers
Strong written, verbal, and interpersonal skills

Conversational French is desirable
