Responsibilities
Lead end-to-end AWS migration programs (discovery → execution → cutover → stabilization)
Drive multi-team delivery for re-hosting, re-platforming, and modernization initiatives
Manage program governance, schedules, risks, dependencies, and executive communication
Collaborate with architects and engineers to resolve technical blockers and define migration patterns
Coordinate release management: planning, deployment readiness, change controls, cutover, and post-release support
Ensure alignment across engineering, security, infrastructure, and business teams
Track KPIs, cloud readiness, migration progress, and release success metrics
Qualification
Required
15+ years IT experience with 8+ years hands-on development (Java/.NET/Python)
5+ years managing technical programs or cloud initiatives
Proven experience delivering AWS migrations (Landing Zones, account migrations, RDS, VPC, IAM)
Strong understanding of cloud architecture, application remediation, and data migration
Experience managing release processes for cloud-deployed applications
Excellent communication, stakeholder engagement, and executive reporting capabilities
Expert in Agile/SAFe and enterprise PMO frameworks
Preferred
AWS certifications
Experience with microservices modernization and containerization (EKS/ECS)
