Managing project timelines, coordinating with clients, architects, and contractors
Performing and/or overseeing structural design
Conducting site inspections to verify compliance with the contract documents and applicable codes
Leading internal project teams
Resolving technical and coordination challenges
Fostering effective collaboration among all project stakeholders
Qualification
Required
Strong project management skills, including the ability to plan, organize, and manage multiple projects concurrently
Minimum 5+ years of experience in structural engineering design, including concrete, structural steel, timber, and cold-formed steel (light-gauge) building systems
Demonstrated experience performing site inspections and overseeing construction for compliance with structural design intent and engineering standards
Ability to collaborate effectively with multidisciplinary teams and maintain professional relationships with clients, contractors, and consultants
Strong written and verbal communication skills, with a high level of organization and problem-solving ability
Proficiency with structural engineering software such as Tekla Structural Designer (TSD), RAM Structural System, ETABS, Enercalc, or similar analysis and design tools
Bachelor's degree in Civil Engineering or Structural Engineering
Preferred
Professional Engineer (PE) license
