Responsibilities
Manage the billing of cloud providers (Microsoft Azure)
Help develop cost modeling strategies to align with business needs
Work closely with the cloud operations team and business relationship management team to provide guidance for the business on how to manage cloud costs
Manage the procurement process and track all costs for all IT systems and services as required
Serve as the single point of contact for all procurement and billing processes in IT
Qualification
Required
Knowledge of finance principles and basic understanding of the accounting process (rate setting, forecasting, invoicing, showback, etc...)
Knowledge of cloud and on-premises technologies at a high-level, such as networking, firewalls, other security components, server, storage, and cloud architecture
Familiarity with Azure Cost Management tools
Minimum of 2 years of experience with Azure and cloud cost management
Bachelor's degree in business administration, computer science or any related field from an appropriately accredited institution and three years of experience in business consultation or business relationship development in an information technology environment; or an equivalent combination of education and experience
