Technical Systems Manager
HotFoot Recruiters is excited to partner with a lifestyle apparel company to hire a Technical Systems Manager to support day-to-day technology operations across the organization. This hands-on role is responsible for maintaining reliable, secure, and highly available systems while supporting business operations and distribution teams.

Responsibilities
Own and support an existing Hyper-V environment, including virtual machines, monitoring, backups, and availability (no greenfield build)
Partner with Operations, Distribution, Finance, and Leadership teams to support warehouse, fulfillment, inventory, and business workflows
Provide Salesforce CRM support at an operational/admin level, including user support, troubleshooting, and configuration assistance
Own and manage day-to-day technology operations, including systems, infrastructure, endpoints, and user access
Manage endpoint lifecycle (Windows/macOS), including provisioning, patching, monitoring, and decommissioning
Support internal networking, VPNs, DNS, DHCP, authentication services, and connectivity between locations
Create and maintain Group Policy Objects (GPOs) for endpoint security, configuration standards, and compliance
Administer Active Directory / Entra ID, including users, groups, role-based access, and least-privilege controls
Troubleshoot production-impacting technology issues with urgency, accountability, and professionalism
Ensure system uptime through monitoring, alerting, backups, and baseline security best practices
Own employee onboarding and offboarding from a systems, access, and equipment perspective
Serve as a point of escalation for internal technical issues and provide user training as needed
Support system implementations, upgrades, migrations, and process improvements
Translate operational challenges into practical, scalable technical solutions
Document systems, configurations, procedures, and technical workflows
Enforce technology policies, access controls, and security standards
Support audit readiness and internal controls related to technology operations
Qualification
Required
5+ years of experience in IT, systems administration, or technology operations
Hands-on experience with Active Directory, Group Policy, and identity/access management
Strong understanding of infrastructure, SaaS platforms, and operational technology systems
Experience supporting ERP, inventory, fulfillment, retail, distribution, or eCommerce systems
Experience supporting Salesforce CRM in an operational or administrative capacity
Experience owning and maintaining Hyper-V environments
Experience working with vendors, MSPs, integrations, and third-party platforms
Exposure to high-availability environments, backups, and disaster recovery planning
Familiarity with platforms such as BlueCherry, Shopify, POS systems, WMS, or EDI
Strong troubleshooting, organizational, and follow-through skills
Comfortable working on-site and supporting physical systems; able to lift up to 35 lbs
