Director of Sales

The Director of Sales will develop and execute the commercial sales strategy across healthcare verticals, lead a high-performing sales team, and drive revenue growth through strategic partnerships and market analysis.

Responsibilities

Develop and execute a comprehensive North American sales strategy predominantly focused on the US market, to drive revenue growth and market penetration
Analyze market trends and competitive dynamics to identify growth opportunities and refine go-to-market tactics
Partner with Marketing, Product, and Customer Success to align on messaging, pipeline generation, and customer engagement
Lead, mentor, and coach a team of sales executives and account managers to exceed performance targets
Establish KPIs, dashboards, and forecasting methodology to ensure pipeline accuracy and accountability
Implement scalable sales processes, including territory planning, account segmentation, and enterprise selling frameworks
Build and strengthen executive relationships within hospitals, IDNs, health systems, specialty pharmacies, and related healthcare ecosystems
Lead enterprise-level negotiations, proposals, and contract execution
Identify opportunities for channel partnerships and strategic alliances to increase market reach
Collaborate with Product and Engineering teams to relay market feedback, feature needs, and customer insights
Support Marketing in creating targeted campaigns and attending key industry events, conferences, and tradeshows
Work closely with Customer Success to ensure seamless onboarding, high adoption, and long-term client satisfaction

Required

10+ years of sales experience, with at least 5 years in a leadership role within healthcare technology, med-tech, or pharmacy automation
Proven success selling into hospitals, health systems, IDNs, or pharmacy markets
Strong understanding of capital equipment, RFID/IoT solutions, clinical workflow automation, or medication management technologies
Demonstrated ability to lead and scale high-performing sales teams
Excellent negotiation, communication, and executive presentation skills
Ability to travel up to 40–50% across North America

Preferred

Experience with enterprise SaaS, subscription models, or recurring revenue solutions
Background in RFID-enabled solutions, inventory management, or healthcare supply chain analytics
MBA or advanced degree in business, healthcare administration, or related field
