Responsibilities
Manage the lifecycle of commercial contracts across our business
Partner with internal Shipt teams to negotiate cross-functional contracts with Shipt vendors
Draft, review, and negotiate a wide range of commercial contracts, including master service agreements (MSAs), non-disclosure agreements (NDAs), and preferred vendor terms
Collaborate closely with cross-functional partners to ensure contracts reflect business goals while appropriately managing legal and regulatory risks
Coordinate with commercial attorneys to identify and mitigate contractual risks
Analyze contract terms to identify opportunities for improvement
Ensure contracts and relevant contract data are entered into Shipt’s contract management platform
Improve contract turnaround times to support a fast-paced business
Qualification
Required
You have a Bachelor's degree, though J.D.'s will be considered
You have 5+ years of experience in contract management, with an emphasis on contract review and negotiations
You have a strong understanding of commercial contract law and risk assessment
You have extensive experience independently revising and negotiating contract language for routine commercial contracts, and maintain attention to detail while managing multiple negotiations at the same time
You have excellent communication and stakeholder management skills, with a collaborative approach to working with cross-functional teams, including procurement
You effectively communicate business critical information including complex contract terms, in a clear and concise manner to both internal stakeholders and external partners
You have the ability to operate in a fast-paced environment and manage multiple competing priorities, while maintaining high standards and responsiveness under pressure
You have experience managing CLM systems and integrations
