Business Development Manager - Locum Tenens/Advanced Practice

Responsibilities
Strategic Lead Generation: Proactively identify and generate new leads through targeted prospecting, networking, and industry research to expand our client base
Relationship Development: Cultivate and maintain strong relationships with key decision-makers at prospective and existing client organizations through association memberships, networking groups, and social media
Territory Management: Develop and execute strategic territory plans, analyzing market trends and identifying opportunities for growth
Client Presentations & Negotiations: Conduct compelling presentations and negotiate contract terms to secure new business and expand existing accounts
Collaboration & Placement Support: Partner with our recruiting teams to ensure successful client and candidate placements, providing valuable insights and support
Performance Achievement: Consistently meet and exceed weekly and quarterly performance targets, contributing to the overall success of the Medix team
Qualification
Required
2+ years of experience selling Provider/Locums staffing solutions
Proven track record of success selling
Experience prospecting and developing a territory plan
Strong written and verbal communication skills
Service-oriented, positive attitude
Competitive mindset
Proven desire and ability to take initiative
Ability to multitask and work in a fast paced environment
Interest in working in a results driven culture with visible KPIs
This role may require some in-office visits based on location
Preferred
Bachelor's Degree preferred
Experienced in developing a book of business nationally/regionally is preferred
