The intern will conduct research and analysis that supports customer experience and business priorities while working closely with experienced professionals in the field.

Responsibilities
Conduct qualitative and quantitative research in support of customer experience and business decisions
Design, analyze, and interpret surveys and other research inputs
Synthesize customer, operational, and market data into clear insights and opportunity areas
Own a defined summer project from problem definition through final recommendations
Support additional research initiatives to gain exposure across methodologies and stakeholders
Contribute to the evaluation of research tools, methodologies, and ways of working
Develop executive-ready summaries, reports, and presentations that communicate insights clearly
Other projects and tasks as assigned
Qualification
Required
Bachelor's degree completed in a relevant field
Currently pursuing a Master's or PhD in Market Research, Marketing, Business Strategy, or a related discipline
GPA of 3.0 or higher is required
Experience applying research or analytical methods through coursework, academic projects, or internships
Strong analytical thinking, synthesis, and communication skills
Ability to work independently and collaboratively; strong organization and time management
Regular, predictable, full attendance is an essential function of the job
Willingness to work the required schedule, work at the specific location required, complete Penske employment application, submit to a background investigation (to include past employment, education, and criminal history) and drug screening are required
Preferred
Familiarity with survey platforms and statistical analysis tools (e.g., Qualtrics, SPSS, or similar)
Proficiency in Excel and PowerPoint for analysis and storytelling
