Nemera is a leading global manufacturer of complex drug delivery systems for the pharmaceutical industry. They are seeking a Lean & Continuous Improvement Intern to conduct time studies, provide project support, and assist with NPS support activities while gaining mentorship from the team.

Conducting Time studies
Providing project support to the team
Assisting with NPS (Net Promoter Score – Nemera production system) support activities

Qualification

Required

Student working towards a bachelor's degree in Engineering and preferably focused on industrial engineering or other related Engineering field
Candidates preferred to have completed their second year of engineering studies and entering Junior or Senior year
High problem-solving skills and self-direction
Ability to work in a team or individual contributor
Technical skills including problem-solving abilities and communication skills
Specific software proficiency (e.g., Excel)
Familiarity with Time studies
Knowledge of 5S principles
Understanding of Lean concepts such as Kanban and SMED (a plus)

Preferred

Familiarity with manufacturing and/or plastic injection molding
Technical skills including problem-solving abilities and communication skills
Specific software proficiency (e.g., Excel)
Familiarity with Time studies
Knowledge of 5S principles
