Mid LevelBrooksource is seeking an experienced Machine Learning Specialist to support and enhance existing ML and data infrastructure. This contractor will bridge technical gaps across model development, data pipelines, and Azure-based services.

Responsibilities
Develop, optimize, and maintain machine learning models for production environments
Build and troubleshoot ETL/EDP data pipelines to ensure reliable data flow
Coordinate and manage Azure resources, including Data Factory, Databricks, Storage, and related services
Integrate technologies and components across multiple systems for seamless end‑to‑end workflows
Document technical decisions, configurations, and processes for ongoing reference and continuity
Qualification
Required
Proven experience developing and deploying ML models in production settings
Strong hands-on experience with data pipelines (Azure Data Factory, Spark, or similar tools)
Working knowledge of Azure cloud services and resource management
Ability to operate independently with minimal supervision in a fast-moving environment
Excellent communication skills, especially for asynchronous collaboration
Preferred
Experience with MLOps tools, workflows, and best practices
Familiarity with MuleSoft or modern API integration patterns
Background in education, workforce, or outcomes-driven systems
