Responsibilities
Serves as the primary point of contact at the CISE administrative front desk by answering phones, greeting visitors, and responding to general inquiries from students, faculty, and staff
Maintains front desk operations, including phone management, message handling, mail and package distribution, and upkeep of a clean and organized reception area
Provides administrative and logistical support to the department by assisting with event setup, creating flyers, maintaining conference rooms, managing office supplies, and supporting faculty and staff with office equipment
Ensures accurate directory and mail slot updates, tracks and restocks supplies, and assists with departmental asset scanning as needed
Qualification
Required
High school diploma or equivalent
Dependable, punctual, and able to maintain a consistent work schedule
Current enrollment as an undergrad student in good academic standing
Preferred
Strong verbal and written communication skills, with the ability to interact professionally with students, faculty, staff, and visitors
Demonstrated reliability, punctuality, and ability to follow established procedures
Basic computer proficiency, including familiarity with Microsoft Office
Proficiency with basic office technology, including phones, printers, copiers, and scanners
Ability to work independently while also collaborating effectively with administrative staff
