Pioneer IT Systems is seeking an IT Transition Engineer to serve as the technical lead for integrating newly acquired centers into the corporate IT ecosystem. This role involves evaluating current technical environments, designing future architecture, and ensuring all locations meet global IT standards through hands-on execution and user training.

Responsibilities

Evaluate and document "current-state" technical environments for new acquisitions
Partner with internal teams to roadmap "future-state" architecture
Prepare, configure, and coordinate the delivery of desktop hardware
Install servers, routers, switches, and desktops
Execute application mapping and data migrations
Perform rigorous test plans and system validation
Provide onsite user setup and support; transition knowledge to the Service Desk
Train new employees on standard IT procedures and issue logging

Client/server and database fundamentals
Advanced proficiency in configuration and deployment of Desktop Environments
Solid understanding of Networking & Telecom infrastructure (Routers, Switches, etc.)
Strong fundamentals in Client/Server & Database structures and server-side applications
4+ years in IT Support or Technical Operations
Bachelor's degree or equivalent professional experience
Exceptional documentation and communication skills
Highly organized and adaptable to shifting priorities
Analytical mindset for troubleshooting complex migrations

Preferred

Remote (EST or CST Preferred)
Travel: Required (Frequency TBD; Includes some weekends)
