Enters claims into a database system accurately and in a timely manner
Sort, organize and file paperwork after entering data
Meets or exceeds qualitative and quantitative production standards, providing support to Mailroom in opening, printing and sorting mail, assists other departments and special projects for the department as needed
Assists with special projects for the department as needed
Qualification
Required
1+ years related work experience
High school diploma or GED
Ability to work independently within guidelines and perform with high degree of accuracy
Be able to adapt to new procedures and opportunities
Communicate effectively with coworkers and management
Preferred
Data entry experience in a healthcare office environment on a computerized claims system preferred
