Responsibilities

Design, implement, and manage a robust preventive maintenance program that anticipates issues before they arise
Schedule and oversee routine inspections, servicing, and upgrades to minimize reactive repairs and production disruptions
Align maintenance activities with production schedules to ensure seamless operations
Lead continuous improvement initiatives to enhance equipment reliability and facility performance
Partner with production to maintain Master Sanitation Schedules (MSS) and Standard Sanitation Operating Procedures (SSOPs)
Ensure compliance with safety, sanitation, and regulatory standards
Monitor and maintain all areas of the facility, including offices, production floors, and outdoor spaces
Conduct regular safety inspections and lead corrective actions
Prioritize and assign work orders, ensuring timely and accurate completion
Supervise and support maintenance staff, providing coaching and performance feedback
Manage relationships with external vendors and contractors, ensuring quality and safety standards are met
Oversee procurement of supplies, chemicals, and equipment, with attention to proper usage and safety
Collaborate with leadership to maintain fire, burglar, and weather-related security systems
Facilitate safety training and promote a culture of safety throughout the facility

Required

High School Diploma or GED required
5+ years of experience in the food & beverage manufacturing industry
Strong knowledge of food processing equipment and maintenance standards
Strong knowledge of OSHA workplace safety standards and Good Manufacturing Practices (GPMs)
Strong leadership and people management skills, with the ability to influence and collaborate across teams

Preferred

a two-year technical degree or four-year degree in a related field
1–3 years of supervisory experience
OSHA 10 or OSHA 30 certification
Experience with maintenance program software
Experience working with SAP
