Human Resources Cumstomer Service Representative 9 (Lead Worker)
NEOGOV is looking for a motivated individual to join the Michigan Civil Service Commission’s MI HR Service Center as a Human Resources Customer Service Representative. This role involves assisting customer service representatives in problem resolution and preparing responses for customer inquiries, requiring strong organizational and communication skills.

Interpret and prepare written and verbal responses for customer inquiries
Qualification
Required
Customer service experience
A background in human resources or benefit transactions utilizing contact center software to manage customer inquiries and cases
Excellent written and verbal communication skills
Extended knowledge regarding benefit eligibility
Education acquired through completion of high school
At least four years of experience in a customer contact center or a customer service position with focus on customer account data, updating online files, responding to and/or resolving customer inquiries in person or via electronic mail, phone or paper
Experience interpreting written procedures and step action tables (SATs) to determine appropriate course of action for human resource transactions
Experience communicating with customers via letter, email, chat and/or text
