They are seeking a Submission Engineering Technician who will focus on producing submission drawings using architectural drawings and specifications, ensuring accuracy and completeness within budget.

Responsibilities
Ability to read and interpret architectural drawings and project specifications
Use software; AutoCAD (2D,3D) or Autodesk Inventor to generate complete and accurate information for a given project
Research and analyze the sales, estimating, and production requirements of a given order or window series
Research and analyze the engineering product standards and requirements of a project
Produce a complete submission package at an elevated level of accuracy in a timely manner
Champion safety culture, quality, and process improvement
Other duties as assigned
Qualification
Required
Ability to read and interpret architectural drawings and project specifications
Use software; AutoCAD (2D,3D) or Autodesk Inventor to generate complete and accurate information for a given project
Research and analyze the sales, estimating, and production requirements of a given order or window series
Research and analyze the engineering product standards and requirements of a project
Produce a complete submission package at an elevated level of accuracy in a timely manner
Champion safety culture, quality, and process improvement
High school diploma or GED is required
Proven proficiency in utilizing AutoCAD and Microsoft Office (Excel, Outlook, etc.)
Must be able to self-check their own output of work to ensure accuracy
Aptitude to troubleshoot problems and arrive at logical solutions
Ability to manage own direction and workload with minimal supervision
Preferred
Associate degree in an Engineering related program or equivalent industry experience is preferred
Aluminum window experience is preferred, but other related fields are welcome
Basic knowledge of computers and preferred programs. (Autodesk Inventor, Epicor, Bluebeam)
