They are seeking a Student Civil Engineer Intern to gain real-world experience in their Transportation Market Sector, working alongside full-time employees to assist in design work, perform calculations, and conduct field inspections.

Assist with design work
Perform calculations and simulations
Research topics as assigned
Assist with field inspections
Qualification
Required
Pursuing a bachelor's degree in civil engineering
Preferred
Solid time management skills and ability to produce accurate, high-quality work in an efficient manner
Ability to define problems, collect data, establish facts, and draw valid conclusions
Interest in designing various kinds of civil engineering features (roads, underground utilities, site grading, paving, storm drainage)
Good working knowledge of fundamental of civil engineering concepts
Self-motivated and detail-oriented
Strong problem-solving and math skills
Ability to communicate effectively both verbally and in writing
Experience with reading, analyzing, and interpreting plan sets
Ability to work quickly and efficiently
Team player who strives to provide quality work
Proficient in using Microsoft Office (e.g., Word, Excel)
Some proficiency with AutoCAD Civil 3D
