Responsibilities
Analyzing and coordinating business activities and operational resources for various large Information Technology projects using Agile, Waterfall and Scrum methodologies
Eliciting requirements using interviews, document analysis, requirements workshops, business process descriptions, Use Cases, business analysis and task and workflow analysis
Defining Use Cases to articulate new functional software needs
Creating required project artifacts, including but not limited to Business Requirements Documents (-BRD-) and Functional Specification Documents (-FSD-) as well as supporting documentation, such as process flows and/or data mapping
Monitoring project plans and creating a detailed project plan which is modified and updated throughout the project life cycle
Creating requirement traceability matrix to track existing versus future state to achieve business objectives using JIRA, Confluence, Miro, QMetry, Agile methodologies, Microsoft Azure, DevOps, and GitHub
Creating Epic, Story Tasks and User Stories
Documenting business processes and work flows and the relationship to current and future software solutions
Creating unit test cases and executing test plans for various components in a TDD or BDD environment based on project requirements
Creating test scripts and scenarios to ensure that applications work according to business requirements
Coordinating problem and issue reviews with follow up on assigned actions
Analyzing test and performance results
Ensuring that QA processes and procedures are being implemented properly from a business point of view
Providing pre/post implementation data analysis and reporting
Documenting business processes and procedures for end users
Analyzing risks and identifying areas of improvement using business process flows
Developing reports for management
Qualification
Required
Bachelor's Degree or foreign degree equivalent in Computer Science, Computer Information Systems, Computer Applications, Information Technology, Business, Engineering Management or Engineering
one years' experience in position, IT or Business Analysis field
Experience with JIRA, Confluence, Miro, QMetry, Agile, Azure, DevOps, and GitHub
Up to 100% travel to various unanticipated domestic client sites in US required
