Inside Sales Manager
ActOne Group is partnering with an industry-leading high-ticket home improvement firm specializing in residential solar, energy storage, and roofing solutions. They are seeking an Inside Sales Manager to lead a sales team, focusing on hands-on coaching and direct involvement in closing deals to achieve high sales outputs.
Responsibilities
Sales Floor Leadership : Enforce a daily operating cadence of huddles, KPI accountability, and CRM hygiene while maintaining a culture of urgency
Hands-on Closing : Directly assist with closing deals, managing high-stakes negotiations, and rescuing at-risk opportunities
Team Scaling : Own the recruiting, hiring, and performance management process to expand capacity and maintain a continuous hiring funnel
Coaching & Development : Conduct call reviews with scorecards and lead daily role-play drills to turn inexperienced reps into elite closers
Pipeline Management : Implement lead routing rules and segment leads (high intent vs. nurture) to maximize conversion rates as volume increases
Self-Generated Growth : Operationalize reactivation campaigns for aged leads and embed referral asks into every customer workflow
Qualification
Required
3+ years leading a high-velocity, phone-based inside sales team
Strongly preferred experience in Solar, Roofing, HVAC, or high-ticket home improvement
Proven 'hunter' mentality with the willingness to hold high standards and execute performance management (PIPs/terminations) when necessary
Deep experience in pipeline management within a CRM (Salesforce preferred) and fluency in consumer financing
Results-driven mindset with the ability to carry a meaningful share of the company's growth on their shoulders
