Responsibilities
Assist in reporting monthly operational sales performance, including volume, mix, and price reconciliations
Help analyze monthly variances in material and labor, contributing to reports on product profitability and non-quality costs
Shadow the finance team in meetings with Production Management to review variances and identify performance improvement areas
Support the preparation of the annual operating budget and periodic forecasts, helping to project sales, profit, and operating expenses
Assist in the annual update of standard product costs and participate in regular inventory cycle counts to ensure data integrity
Utilize SAP and Excel to extract and organize cost-related data for use in executive financial reporting
Qualification
Required
Currently pursuing a Bachelor's or Master's degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related business field
Intermediate to advanced proficiency in Microsoft Excel (pivot tables, VLOOKUPs, etc.)
High attention to detail with the ability to organize complex data sets into clear, actionable summaries
Strong verbal and written communication skills to interact with both finance and operations teams
Ability to multi-task in a deadline-driven environment and a desire to learn the nuances of industrial/manufacturing finance
Preferred
A 'results-oriented' mindset with a proactive approach to problem-solving
Ability to collaborate cross-functionally and a genuine interest in cost accounting and manufacturing operations
