Responsibilities
Managing business relationships with clients, Brokers, Consultants, Fund Trustees, Administrators and Plan Professionals and overall account management of pension and health plan administration
Maintain a diverse book of business—including PFL clients, claims administration-only accounts, full pension administration, health and welfare clients, and full fund administration, where Amalgamated serves as the fund office from start to finish
Ensuring high client satisfaction while acting as a trusted resource for timely and accurate issue resolution
Maintain direct client relationships and participate in trustee meetings; candidate should be prepared to eventually lead these meetings
Organize and review all Amalgamated meeting materials for accuracy, participate, and attend quarterly status and Trustee meetings
Attend 2–3 membership meetings per year, typically coinciding with open enrollment periods
Qualification
Required
Previous account management experience
Articulate and well accustomed to a client facing role
Willingness and ability to travel
