Responsibilities

Monitors the care provided by the Health Care Technician I’s providing feedback to staff as needed
Provides specialized direct services to adults with intellectual developmental disabilities
Assisting with necessary health care needs

Qualification

Nurse Aide I certificationNurse Aide II certificationEmergency Medical TechnicianMulti-handicapped individualsBasic health care knowledgeHygieneSafety knowledge

Required

High school or General Educational Development diploma and one year of related work experience; or an equivalent combination of education and experience
As required, listing as a Nurse Aide I by the North Carolina Division of Health Service Regulation
As applicable, listing as a Nurse Aide II by the North Carolina Board of Nursing
As applicable, North Carolina Emergency Medical Technician (EMT) certification

Preferred

Experience working with Multi-handicapped individuals having knowledge of basic health care, hygiene and safety

Benefits

A Sign-on bonus of $2,500 may be offered to the successful applicant(s) of this posting, contingent on the 2025-2026 Budget Approval.
