The Software Engineer in Test Intern will gain hands-on experience in software development, working with the QA team to build tools for automated testing and collaborating with various teams to enhance application testing solutions.

Responsibilities
Work with the QA team to build tools for automated testing of software applications
Collaborate with the engineering, product, design, data, and QA teams to design, develop, and maintain NinjaTrader's application testing solutions
Assist in building and enhancing software automation framework leveraging APIs, microservices, and other backend components
Work on data analysis, visualization, and machine learning tasks to derive insights from large datasets for the QA team
Participate in code reviews, testing, and debugging to ensure the quality and performance of the applications
Contribute to the design and implementation of scalable and secure software solutions
Qualification
Required
Junior or Senior currently pursuing a Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering, Data Science, or a related field
Strong programming skills in Python and JavaScript
Familiarity with web technologies such as HTML, CSS, JavaScript, and relevant frameworks
Basic understanding of machine learning concepts and algorithms
Strong problem-solving skills and attention to detail
Excellent communication and teamwork skills
Ability to work independently and manage time effectively
Preferred
Previous internship or professional experience supporting a similar function
Basic understanding of cloud platforms (e.g., AWS, Azure, Google Cloud)
Knowledge of SQL and database management
Familiarity with version control systems like Git
